Norm and I moved from a small town, Holbrook to Albury because of my weekly medical appointments at the specialist at Albury Medical Centre. Now, I can easily go to the doctors or the hospital which took hours before.
In Holbrook, work was drying up and I was terminated. But in Albury, before we even settled on the house, I had a new job in the tourism industry which I just love. Tourism with the wine areas and the
snow fields is an exciting industry to be part of in the Albury area. There are seven flights a day and more in the ski season. I enjoy my work and love meeting new people every day
But the improvement in my life in Albury that I notice most, is having a brand new house! The neighbours are friendly and we feel like our own little community. There aren't hundreds of homes in the development and there all beautifully maintained. The shops are close by and the new
freeway to Melbourne has an intake from up the road. It's only three to four hours to the Melbourne
CBD if we wanted a treat!
